School Social Worker – LMSW/LCSW

About the role

TLC, The Treatment and Learning Centers, is seeking a full-time (school-based, 10-months contract) licensed Social Worker to work with students in grades K-12 at the Katherine Thomas School in Rockville, MD.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy and support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Disabilities (LD), and ADHD
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assess student needs and progress towards goals
• Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to enhance learning outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• LCSW or LMSW license required
• Maintain a current MD license
• Experience working with ASD/LD, neurodivergence
• Experience in a school setting preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Master's degree in Social Work preferred
• Experience in school-based settings

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in social work

Pay

$62,000 - $70,000 for the 10 months, based on licensure and experience
