School Social Worker (Long-term Substitute)

Responsibilities
- Provide social work services to students, families, and staff within the Normandale Elementary school setting.
- Assess and address social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students and families.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions and support plans.
- Conduct home visits and provide outreach services to families as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- Current School Social Worker license issued through PELS.
- Experience working with children and families in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
- Master's degree in Social Work preferred.
Skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of child development and mental health issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay
The wage for this position is $287.64 per day.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8.0 hours per day from August 24, 2026 through December 18, 2026 (dates are approximate and subject to change).
