Long-term substitute position for the 2026-27 school year at Cosgrove Middle School and Spencerport High School.
Responsibilities
- Hold Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) meetings
- Provide counseling services to students
- Assist in crisis management
- Develop, monitor, and assess both academic and behavior support plans
- Participate as a member of the school’s building-based problem-solving team to develop assistance for at-risk students
Requirements
- New York State Certification: School Social Worker (required)
- Successful experience as an elementary school social worker (preferred)
- Knowledge of New York State Learning Standards and assessments
- Knowledge of NYSED Part 100 and 200
- Knowledge of PBIS, SEL, and MTSS
- Knowledge of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP); ability to write and implement
Pay
$200 per day with Bachelor’s Degree / $215 per day with Master’s Degree
Schedule
Starting September 8, 2026, for approximately 12 weeks.
