School Social Worker

We are currently seeking to welcome a skilled and purpose-driven School Social Worker to our passionate team! By working outside of a single school or district, you can have a variety of perspectives and experiences alongside others in your profession, all while being free from tasks that district employees are typically required to do.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct social work services to refer students who have serious social and emotional problems that interfere with learning
- Provide individual and group therapeutic counseling to students and their families
- Identify and assesses academic problems through analysis of factors impinging on student adjustment including factors in the home, school, and community
- Determine and implement appropriate therapeutic strategies to effect changes in behavioral/social interactions of students and their families
- Complete psychosocial assessments to assist in the determination of special education eligibility
- Coordinate and facilitate crisis intervention
Requirements
- Social Worker License (required)
- School Social Worker approval

Pay
Compensation details: 45‑55 Hourly Wage
