School Social Worker

About the role

This position will support schools with whole school social, emotional and behavioral wellness supports. Clinicians in FCUSD work closely with multi-disciplinary teams on their campuses and with students in individual, small group and classroom settings and will connect families with community supports.

Responsibilities

• Support schools with whole school social, emotional and behavioral wellness supports.
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams on campuses and with students in individual, small group and classroom settings.
• Connect families with community supports.
• Support two schools in FCUSD.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and families.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of social, emotional, and behavioral health interventions.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $34.85 ~ $42.35 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Schedule

8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
