1.0 FTE position at Jefferson Elementary, starting approximately 8/24/26 for the 26-27 school year.

About the role

Provides developmental and supportive counseling services to early childhood and kindergarten aged students. Consults with teachers and administrators to assist in developing interventions and alternatives to facilitate student's academic performance and emotional adjustment. Serves as liaison between school and home to ensure appropriate transition of students.

Requirements

  • Valid licensure and credentials
  • Licensed Graduate Social Work (LGSW) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) preferred
  • Credentials from the Minnesota Department of Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work or chemical health related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • K-12 School Social Work License
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, staff, and administration

Qualifications

  • Successful experience working as a social worker in a school with at-risk students in setting III is highly desirable

Pay

Daily pay range: approximately $259.04 - $485.53 depending on experience.
