School Services - School Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - $42-44 per hour

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for a local contract position in Canton, Georgia for the 2026-2027 school year.

About the role

Provide essential support and specialized care to students in educational settings. Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to ensure students receive services tailored to their individual needs. Work with children in a variety of classroom settings and provide additional services depending on the needs of the student population.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment for students with various communication disorders such as articulation, language, and fluency
• Conduct speech and language evaluations
• Write and implement goals and objectives for IEPs
• Collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team and provide classroom support
• Attend IEP meetings
• Deliver direct therapy or nursing care

Requirements

• Valid Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing license (preferred)
• Willing to obtain Georgia state licensure
• Experience as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (years of experience may be specified)

Pay

$34.00 - $41.88 hourly

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• No weekends, no holidays, no call
• 37.5 hours per week
• Contract length: 2026 - 2027 school year
• Start date: 03/20/2027
• Duration: 9 weeks
