A travel position for a School Speech Language Pathologist in the Coon Rapids, MN area, starting 08/25/2026 for 13 weeks (37 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts).
About the Role
As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education and treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time early childhood program running from 08/25/2026 to 06/10/2027.
Responsibilities
- Manage and organize specialized materials, equipment, and environment essential to the speech and language program.
- Provide educationally related communication intervention for students disabled by disorders of language, speech, or hearing in various settings.
- Assess speech and language skills of students suspected of having a communication disorder and consult with teachers to develop IEP goals and objectives.
- Provide resources, modeling strategies, and training to other team members in communication interventions.
- Communicate regularly about individual student assessment results and progress with school staff, parents, and students as appropriate.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
