A travel position for a School Speech Language Pathologist in Golden, Colorado, supporting elementary students in a significant support needs school in the Denver area.

About the Role

This is a part-time, in-person travel position with a school-based setting. The role involves developing and implementing individualized education and treatment programs for students whose communication abilities are impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries.

Schedule

• Start Date: ASAP (assignment dates: August 19, 2026 – May 27, 2027)
• 30 hours per week
• 8-hour day shifts

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize specialized materials, equipment, and environments essential to the speech and language program.
• Provide educationally related communication intervention for students with language, speech, or hearing disorders in various settings.
• Assess speech and language skills of students suspected of having communication disorders.
• Consult with teachers to develop IEP goals and objectives.
• Provide resources, modeling strategies, and training to other team members on communication interventions.
• Communicate student assessment results and progress with school staff, parents, and students as appropriate.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in speech pathology or communications disorders.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association).
• Current CDE Special Services Provider license with endorsement in Speech Therapist, Speech Correction, or Speech/Language Pathologist.

Pay
