Supplemental Health Care is seeking a School Special Education Teacher for a local contract position in Lawrence, Kansas.
About the Role
This is a 13-week contract position starting as soon as possible. The role requires 37 hours per week with an 8-hour day shift.
Pay
$41.45 - $46 per hour, plus a $3,000 assignment bonus (conditions apply; ask recruiter for details).
Responsibilities
- Support students with disabilities through personalized instruction and advocacy.
- Build and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams.
- Track student progress and create engaging lesson plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Teaching Certification with Schools Special Education Endorsement.
- Special Education Teaching Endorsement that meets position requirements.
- Certifications in multicategorical, crosscategorical, intellectual, learning, and/or emotional disability special education may be accepted.
