Responsibilities

  • Provide essential support and specialized instruction tailored to students’ IEP goals and individual needs
  • Implement classroom strategies such as rephrasing instructions, behavior support, and accommodations
  • Maintain professional communication and comprehensive documentation of student progress and educational plans

Qualifications

  • Valid Missouri K–12 or preschool special education license (or eligible to obtain via Praxis)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in special education preferred
  • Willingness to obtain necessary licensure if not currently licensed
  • Strong collaboration skills, familiarity with IEP processes, and experience supporting diverse student populations
  • Be willing to commit to the duration of the 2026–2027 school year
