About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Special Education Teachers to join our team in Chattanooga, TN and help us continue to make a difference. Cross Country is open to new graduates who have received their Licensure and are looking to find a position that offers growth and support.
Responsibilities
- Work with students with special needs
- Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance student learning
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in special education
Requirements
- A degree in Special Education or related field
- State certification/Licensure in Special Education
Qualifications
- Experience working with students with special needs is appreciated
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of special education techniques and strategies
