AHS Staffing is seeking a qualified Travel Special Education Teacher for a school assignment in Anchorage, Alaska.

About the Role

This is a travel position with the following details:

• Start Date: 08/14/2026
• Duration: 41 weeks (13 weeks initially, extendable)
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 7.5-hour shifts (37 hours per week)
• Employment Type: Travel

Pay

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,525.60 (for informational purposes only)
• Breakdown:
  • Weekly Wages: $525.00
  • Weekly Meals & Incidental Per Diem: $800.24
  • Housing Per Diem: $1,200.36
• Tax-free stipend amount to be determined (based on 12-hour shifts and 37 hours per week, subject to confirmation)

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Special Education program
• Active and unrestricted professional license(s) and required certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
