About the Role
MediPro has an immediate need for a Moderate/Severe Special Education Teacher to support a self-contained elementary classroom in Stockton, California for the 2026/2027 school year. This is an on-site, travel position with the following details:
- Elementary school setting
- Self-contained Moderate/Severe classroom
- Small caseload of 7 students
- Duration: 42 weeks
- 30 hours per week, 6-hour shifts
Responsibilities
- Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide individualized instruction and behavioral support
- Manage classroom activities and student behavior
- Collaborate with school staff and families
Requirements
- Appropriate California Special Education teaching credential for Moderate/Severe or Extensive Support Needs
- Experience supporting students with moderate to extensive needs preferred
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
Pay
Pay package is based on 6-hour shifts and 30 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
