About the role
The School Services School Physical Therapist position is available for a 13-week contract starting July 10, 2026, in Leonardtown, Maryland. This role requires 35 hours per week and works 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate students' physical abilities and needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills and function
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure continuity of care
- Evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Maryland
- Experience in school-based physical therapy preferred
- Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 35 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment includes hourly wages, reimbursements for meal & incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the Company. Additional benefits such as medical/dental/vision insurance are in addition to the weekly pay.
Schedule
