About the role
Support elementary students in Buckeye, Arizona, by building the skills they need to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of students' fine motor, visual-motor, and sensory processing abilities to determine eligibility and develop individualized goals.
- Provide occupational therapy interventions across multiple elementary school sites, adapting strategies to support diverse student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to implement classroom accommodations and participate in IEP meetings.
- Maintain accurate documentation, monitor student progress, and adjust treatment plans to maximize student independence.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapist License
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged students preferred; school-based experience is a plus
