About the Role

PediaStaff, a division of AHS Staffing, is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Port Orchard, WA. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment, helping them develop fine motor skills, adapt to physical or cognitive challenges, and access appropriate educational tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with patients' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to patients' unique needs.
• Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodations or modifications.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid State license
• Experience with children (specific bilingual or other experience preferred)
