About the Role

Part-time, 16 hours per week (2 days a week in-person) school Occupational Therapist opportunity in the East Aurora, IL area. This role supports students in elementary resource settings, focusing on motor, sensory, and functional development. The assignment starts immediately and lasts 13 weeks, with FMLA coverage dates from ASAP through 10/15/2026.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
• Contribute to IEP development by providing insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodations or modifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
• Illinois OT license.
• Previous school experience or pediatric experience preferred (fieldwork counts).
• Mentorship and training available for new graduates.

Pay

$50–56 per hour.
