School Security Agent (Effective 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR)

About the role

Ensures that district premises are safe and secure.

Maintains order and ensures district and school policies, rules and regulations are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Makes sure all students on TUSD campuses behave appropriately.
• Maintains safety and security of district premises.
• Enforces district and school policies, rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Two years experience working with 12-18 year old youth.
• Working knowledge in the area of conflict resolution/mediation.
• Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

Qualifications

• FBI fingerprint background check.
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
• Post-offer/pre-employment physical exam and lift test.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Valid Driver's license (Arizona Driver’s License required within 30 days of hire).
• MVReport – showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
• Satisfactory completion of phases I, II and III of Campus Monitor training within 90-days of hire.
