School School Psychologist (Certified) - $62-65 per hour

About the Role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a local contract School Psychologist (Certified) for a position in New Braunfels, Texas, starting in the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role focuses on a middle school caseload, offering a pay rate of $55.00–$60.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education and related services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and contribute to IEP goal development.
• Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional interventions for middle school students as outlined in their individualized plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, campus administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student mental health, learning, and behavioral needs.
• Facilitate re-evaluations, maintain assessment timelines, and complete compliant evaluation documentation in accordance with state guidelines.

Requirements

• Active Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP) license or appropriate TEA School Psychologist certification required.
• School-based psychological assessment and counseling experience preferred.
