About the role
A School Sales Administrator works within a collaborative team that provides equipment and services to schools, a specialized market in the industry. This position supports the sales and operations of the School team by administratively executing multiple orders simultaneously, delivering a seamless customer experience, and offering potential for growth within the department.
Responsibilities
- Perform administrative duties to assist School Specialists.
- Communicate with clients, sub-contractors, warehouse managers, and internal team to ensure timely delivery of customer products.
- Effectively manage sales orders processing and invoicing.
- Attend daily meetings with the School team to provide outstanding order updates.
- Provide customer support including warranty and/or service requests.
- Support problem solving and resolution.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Competency in Microsoft Suite.
- Great attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree; or 5+ years relevant professional experience.
- Preferred: Previous restaurant industry experience.
- Preferred: 1-3 years previous administrative experience.
Physical Requirements
- Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make discriminations in sound.
- Hand dexterity and coordination: Critical for tasks requiring use of one or both arms and wrists to lift parts, fixtures, and tools on a frequent basis.
- Lifting: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
- Sitting: Must be able to sit for long periods of time, but at least 50% of the time.
- Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time.
- Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word, including conveying detailed or important instructions accurately or quickly.
- Vision: Required to have visual acuity to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations. Must be able to read a computer screen for long periods of time.
- Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or between workstations.
This position has no current supervisory responsibilities.
