Responsibilities

• Maintain student health and immunization records
• Conduct various medical screenings
• Work with the building team to address health-related needs that impact learning
• Supervise the health office staff
• Provide care for students and staff, share knowledge with teammates, and contribute to achieving stated goals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in nursing
• Current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse
• Pediatric experience and/or school nursing experience
• Professional role-modeling, communication, cultural competence, and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of school nursing procedures and services
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
