About the role
WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse to support student health and wellness within the school environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to students
- Manage health records
- Administer medications
- Respond effectively to health emergencies
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
- Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred
- Strong assessment and clinical skills tailored towards children and adolescents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
