About the role

As a School Psychology Intern at Green Tree School & Services, you will provide psychological and educational support to students while developing your professional skills under the supervision of a certified School Psychologist.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral assessments, and write clear, comprehensive reports with actionable, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Contribute to IEP development and provide input on behavioral and social-emotional goals.
  • Deliver individual and group counseling and crisis intervention services.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide consultation to staff and families.
  • Analyze student and program data to inform MTSS implementation and intervention planning.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in a graduate program in school psychology with eligibility for an internship
  • Minimum of two years of experience in school settings providing assessment, counseling, and/or consultation (experience in urban settings preferred)
  • Knowledge of assessment, intervention, and behavior support strategies for students with disabilities
  • Current Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances

Qualifications

  • Ability to build positive, culturally competent relationships with students, families, and staff

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using assessment tools and software
  • Experience working with diverse populations
