Responsibilities
- Provide psychological services to students in a variety of settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized educational plans.
- Assess students' emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.
- Develop and deliver interventions to address identified needs.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other school staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations as required by state regulations.
Requirements
- Must possess and maintain the certification requirements as established by Connecticut State Statutes.
- Must have School Psychology Certification (070).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Master's degree in School Psychology or related field preferred.
- Valid Connecticut teaching certificate.
- Experience working with students in a school setting.
- Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
