About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments and interventions to support student learning and development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized educational plans
- Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to improve teaching practices
- Develop and deliver professional development workshops for staff on mental health and wellness
- Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives aimed at promoting student well-being
Requirements
- Masters degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Current School Psychology Certification (070) from the Connecticut State Board of Education
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of child development and learning theories
- Experience with evidence-based interventions and strategies
- Proficiency in using assessment tools and software
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed

Pay
The salary for this position is contingent upon degree and years of experience, ranging from $51,421 to $104,297 for the 25-26 school year and $53,220 to $108,047 for the 26-27 school year.
Schedule
The schedule for this position includes standard school hours and may require evening and weekend availability as needed.
