About the role
School Psychologist (Certified) position available for a 36-week contract starting August 4, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments and interventions for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop support plans
- Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to educators
- Develop and implement school-wide programs to promote mental health and wellness
Requirements
- Master's degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Arizona State Certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings
- Knowledge of child development and learning theories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Current Arizona teaching license preferred
- Experience with data collection and analysis
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
