School Psychologist (Certified) - $59-62 per hour
About the role
The School Psychologist will provide essential mental health, behavioral, and academic support to students in educational settings. They will conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, cognitive testing, and behavioral assessments to determine eligibility for special education services. They will write, review, and implement goals and objectives for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). They will facilitate and participate in IEP, 504, and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) meetings. They will collaborate with school staff, teachers, therapists, and families to ensure students receive services tailored to their individual academic and emotional needs. They will provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and social-skills training to students as needed.
Responsibilities

- Work with children across a variety of classroom settings and provide additional psychological services depending on the needs of the student population.
Requirements
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license from the Nevada Department of Education (or willingness to obtain).
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of NV special education regulations and IDEA compliance.
