About the Role
PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support children of all ages in the Glendale Heights, IL area for the 2026-27 school year. This part-time, in-person position involves splitting time between two elementary schools, with daily hours from 8:55 AM to 2:55 PM.
Responsibilities
- Administer diagnostic and curriculum-based assessments.
- Use intelligence and academic performance testing to determine student diagnoses and recommendations for specialized services.
- Observe students in various academic and social settings to gain insight and data into students' overall functioning in school.
- Provide consultative psychology services to parents and school staff as described in the IEP.
- Serve as a critical member of the IEP team, offering insight and guidance regarding student academic and behavioral functioning.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in School Psychology.
- Illinois Professional Educator Licensure (PEL) for School Psychologist.
- One year of full-time, supervised internship in a school setting.
Pay
$50–60 per hour.
Schedule
- Start Date: 08/31/2026.
- Duration: 13 weeks.
- 21 hours per week, 8-hour shifts during the day (8:55 AM–2:55 PM).
