School Psychologist

TheraPeds Partners is a therapist-owned and operated organization partnering with schools to provide School Psychology services to PreK-12 students nationwide. About the role

This is a full-time, on-site role as a School Psychologist serving a school located in Merrillville, IN for the 2026-2027 school year (August - May/June). The position involves 32-38 hours per week, primarily working with PreK-5 grades.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to students
• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) plans
• Participate in eligibility determination processes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, educators, and parents
• Support students according to their IEP requirements
• Attend IEP meetings and provide diagnostics
• Manage caseloads with dual support from the District and TheraPeds
• Complete documentation, administrative tasks, and planning

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
• NASP License (preferred but not required)
• State License and/or School Psychologist and Department of Education certification (when required)
• 2+ years of experience (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of counseling and psychological assessment
• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in the use of technology
• Fingerprint background clearance

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires the ability to perform necessary physical movements, including lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in various physical locations and activities.

Pay

$60 - $70+/hour ($2,160-$2,520+/week)
