About the role

The School Psychologist provides a variety of mental health, consulting, educational, and diagnostic services to assigned schools and programs throughout the district to facilitate learning and to promote the cognitive, social, and personal development of all students. This position receives indirect supervision from the Site Principal.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mental-health services to students.
• Consult with educators and families to support student development.
• Conduct educational and diagnostic assessments.
• Promote cognitive, social, and personal growth for all students.

Requirements

• Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential.
• English Learner certificate (CLAD or BCLAD) may be required per Board policy.
• Copy of transcript (required).
• Copy of credential (required).
• Letter of introduction (required).
• 1–3 letters of recommendation (required).
• Résumé (required).

Pay

Placement on the PAUSD management salary schedule; dependent on experience.
