School Psychologist

MIYO Health is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in partnership with Bennington Public Schools for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid schedule while making a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary students.

Position Details

Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Bennington, Nebraska
Setting: Two K-5 elementary schools
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – preferred two days per week onsite; remaining three days may be completed virtually, depending on district needs

Requirements

• Valid Nebraska School Psychologist certification (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
• Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with school teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
• Interpret assessment results and prepare written reports
• Participate in eligibility meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student success
• Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements
