About the role

Glendive Public Schools is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with students, staff, and families, supporting student success through assessment, collaboration, and problem-solving, and contributing to a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented school culture.

Responsibilities

  • Support student success through assessment, collaboration, and problem-solving
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented school culture
  • Social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs of students
  • Collaborate with educators to develop effective supports and interventions
  • Embrace innovation, continuous improvement, and a "fail forward" mindset
  • Keep students at the center of all decisions

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Montana
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of child development and learning theories
  • Experience with data collection and analysis
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized educational plans
  • Understanding of federal and state laws related to special education

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Pay

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually.

Schedule

The School Psychologist will work a standard school schedule, typically 40 hours per week, with some evening and weekend availability as needed.
