About the role
Glendive Public Schools is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with students, staff, and families, supporting student success through assessment, collaboration, and problem-solving, and contributing to a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented school culture.
Responsibilities
- Support student success through assessment, collaboration, and problem-solving
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented school culture
- Social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs of students
- Collaborate with educators to develop effective supports and interventions
- Embrace innovation, continuous improvement, and a "fail forward" mindset
- Keep students at the center of all decisions
Requirements
- A Master's degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Montana
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel
Qualifications
- Knowledge of child development and learning theories
- Experience with data collection and analysis
- Ability to develop and implement individualized educational plans
- Understanding of federal and state laws related to special education
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality

Pay
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually.
Schedule
The School Psychologist will work a standard school schedule, typically 40 hours per week, with some evening and weekend availability as needed.
