Responsibilities

  • Conduct FIEs and REEDs for students (ages 0–18) referred for special education evaluation.
  • Contribute evaluation findings to the development of IEPs.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and community agencies on intervention strategies.
  • Attend ARD committee meetings to support appropriate placement decisions.
  • Produce accurate, timely evaluation reports meeting district and state requirements.
  • Track and submit billable hours through QuickBooks.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Active Texas LSSP licensure.
  • Demonstrated experience in psychological assessment of children and adolescents (0–18).
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.

Skills

  • Skilled with standardized test instruments, diagnostic software, and special education management platforms.
  • Strong, defensible report writing.
  • Reliable, professional communication (we collaborate via Slack, email, and Zoom).
  • Comfortable with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Practical Notes

  • Some travel to campus sites within your service area.
  • Light lifting and transport of test materials.
