School Pickup Babysitter

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to assist with weekday school pickup for our two children, ages 6 and 10, in Nashville, TN. The position involves picking them up from their elementary school at dismissal and driving them directly to the middle school where I work. You will stay with them in the parking lot until I finish work at approximately 4:15 PM, at which time I will meet you and take over.

Responsibilities

• Pick up two children (ages 6 and 10) from elementary school at dismissal.
• Drive them directly to the middle school where the parent works.
• Supervise the children in the parking lot until approximately 4:15 PM.
• Provide close supervision and support, particularly during transitions, for our 6-year-old son who is autistic and non-speaking.

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Safe driving record.
• Comfortable transporting children.
• Experience with autistic or special-needs children is strongly preferred.
• Consistent availability Monday through Friday during the school year.

Schedule

Monday through Friday during the school year, from school dismissal until approximately 4:15 PM.
