School Photographer - Marcellus, NY

Seasonal position starting August 18, 2026. Must reside in Marcellus, NY or surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Capture genuine smiles and priceless school memories
• Use your personal vehicle to travel to local schools and support picture day
• Transport, set up, and take down photography equipment at school locations
• Use photo software to organize and manage images
• Build hands-on photography experience in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
• Occasional overnight stays (hotel + per diem paid)

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (must be 18+)
• Reliable, insured vehicle and valid U.S. driver’s license (public transportation not permitted)
• Willingness to start early (driving start times as early as 4 AM) and occasional extended hours when travel is involved
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of camera equipment
• Ability to store camera equipment in home when not in use
• Cheerful, friendly personality—especially around kids
• Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities
• Strong communication, customer service, and tech skills
• Comfort working independently for smaller events after training
• Comfortable working with computers/cameras and learning new programs
• Grooming and professional appearance that reflects Jostens’ standards
• Reliable cell phone and internet access
• Local requirement: May be required to complete additional background/health screenings as determined by state-specific policies

Pay

$21–22 per hour, with overtime pay during peak weeks.

• Seasonal position: August 18, 2026 through November (potential extension into December)
