School Photographer - Bemidji, MN

Location: Must reside in Bemidji, MN or surrounding areas.

About the role

Capture genuine smiles and priceless school memories. Use your personal vehicle to travel to local schools and support picture day. Paid to enjoy new scenery, meet new people, and occasional overnight stays (hotel + per diem paid). Transport, set up, and take down photography equipment at school locations for photo day events. Use photo software to organize and manage images. Build hands-on photography experience in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Travel to schools, as scheduled, for photo day events
• Set up and take down photography equipment at school locations
• Capture high-quality images of students and school events
• Use photo software to organize and manage images
• Work independently for smaller events after training
• Maintain a professional appearance that reflects Jostens’ standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (must be 18+)
• Reliable, insured vehicle and valid U.S. driver’s license (public transportation not permitted)
• Willingness to start early (as early as 4 AM) and work occasional extended hours when travel is involved
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of camera equipment
• Ability to store camera equipment in your home when not in use
• Cheerful, friendly personality—especially around kids
• Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities
• Strong communication, customer service, and tech skills
• Comfort working with computers, cameras, and learning new programs
• Reliable cell phone and internet access
• May be required to complete additional background/health screenings as determined by state policies

Pay

$21–22 per hour, with overtime pay during peak weeks. Paid travel time and mileage reimbursement.

Schedule

Seasonal position running through November (with potential to extend into December). Average 30+ hours per week. Early start times (as early as 4 AM) and occasional overnight travel required.
