School Paraprofessionals

Responsibilities

• Schedule / Shift: School-day schedule, Monday–Friday, Full time, School year assignment
• Key Duties:
  • Implement student IEPs and BIPs using ABA strategies with fidelity
  • Provide one-to-one academic and behavioral support services to students
  • Absorb and collaborate with educational and behavioral teams to support classroom and school routines
  • Accurately collect, graph, and maintain student behavioral data
  • Utilize QBS Safety Care de-escalation strategies and physical management techniques when necessary for safety
  • Attend and participate in required supervision sessions to maintain compliance with BACB standards
  • Support students in achieving behavioral, social, and educational goals
  • Participate in trainings, meetings, and additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Education: Associate’s degree or completion of 60 college credits
• Licenses & Certifications: Active RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) for RBT candidates, TB Test completed within the last five years
• Other: Ability to pass criminal background check and Child Protection Registry clearance

Skills

• Knowledge of ABA strategies and behavioral intervention techniques
• Strong empathy and understanding of developmental stages and student behavioral needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educational and behavioral support teams
• Strong communication, organization, and data collection skills
• Ability to physically support students and participate in active classroom environments
