Graduate Assistant position for the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 academic year.
About the role
Carthage College is seeking a Graduate Assistant to support the School of Business & Economics (SOBE). This position reports to the Dean of the School of Business & Economics and the Graduate Program Director, with availability required during minimal nights and weekends. Normal working hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting August 10, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assist with administration of the main SOBE office, including managing office and classroom supplies.
- Maintain SOBE social media pages.
- Create graphics and ads for placement.
- Assist professors with preparing classroom materials.
- Support the Dean with divisional responsibilities and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Application and acceptance to one of Carthage College’s graduate business programs.
Qualifications
Ideal qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, graphic design, or a communications-related field.
