About the role
Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district to hire an Occupational Therapist to provide services in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. This is a local contract position working with students across multiple grade levels.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver OT services based on each student's IEP
- Develop, implement, and track therapy plans that actually work
- Evaluate students, collect data, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to help students thrive
- Work across multiple grade levels (some travel between schools may be required)
- Potentially supervise OT assistants
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with a Michigan license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Passion for working with kids and a creative, flexible approach
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Pay
- $50.95 – $54.85 per hour
- $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details
Schedule
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 20 hours per week
- 8-hour day shifts
