Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Lee's Summit, Missouri to hire a local contract School Occupational Therapist.

About the role

Help kids shine as a School-Based OT! Deliver occupational therapy services based on each student’s IEP, develop and implement effective therapy plans, and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to help students thrive across multiple grade levels. Some travel between schools may be required. Potential supervision of OT assistants.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services based on each student’s IEP

• Evaluate students, collect data, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Work across multiple grade levels (some travel between schools may be required)
• Potentially supervise OT assistants

Requirements

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with a Missouri license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Passion for working with kids and a creative, flexible approach
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Pay

• Hourly Rate: $38.85 - $41.80 per hour
• $3,000 assignment bonus available (conditions apply; ask recruiter for details)

Schedule

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 37 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
