Responsibilities
- Assess referred patients for rehabilitation services, including assessing medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation.
- Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
- Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record the patient's condition, and educate patients and families in an appropriate occupational therapy method.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current state license as an Occupational Therapist / OT or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist / OT.
- CPR certification.
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
- Absorb patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
- Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Pay
Pay package is based on 7.5 hour shifts and 22.5 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
