About the role

The School Nutrition Assistant Manager oversees the daily operations of the school’s food service program, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. This role involves managing staff, preparing menus, and maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and distribution of meals to students and staff.
• Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling and training.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Plan and prepare nutritious menus in accordance with dietary guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, food service management, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Pay
