About the role

Responsible for managing the school nutrition program, overseeing food preparation, serving, and waste management. Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the school cafeteria including menu planning, ordering, and inventory management.
• Ensure all food service staff are trained in food safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Monitor food waste and implement strategies to reduce waste while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the school meal program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, food service management, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service management.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with food safety certifications such as ServSafe.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
