About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Nurse (RN) to provide private duty in-home nursing care for school-aged pediatric clients (3+ years) throughout the Erie County area. In this role, you will work closely with families in the comfort of their homes, utilizing your clinical expertise and critical thinking skills to deliver high-quality care to children with various diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care to children with various diagnoses
- Perform clinical assessments and administer medications, treatments, and therapies
- Provide family education and support complex care needs, including trach & vent management
- Operate within your scope of practice, with training provided for working with children if needed
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Ability to travel to cases
- Compassionate, active listening, and excellent assessment skills
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care with compassion and reliability
