School Nurse - Private Duty

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one nursing care in a school setting, supporting students with medical needs such as Trach, vent, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring, diabetic care, and personal care. The role may involve transporting the student to and from school.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor nursing care tailored to individual medical conditions
• Ensure safety and well-being of students with complex health needs
• Possibly ride the bus with the student

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Current RN license in the practicing state
• Valid health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray, and BLS certification
• Preferred: at least one year of RN experience

Ideal candidates are compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of managing medical procedures in a school environment.
