School Nurse - Part Time

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one nursing care in a school setting for students with complex medical needs, including g-tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators.

Responsibilities

• Administering care for students requiring trach, vent, G-tube feedings
• Seizure monitoring
• Personal and diabetic care
• Possibly riding the bus with the patient

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Health certificate
• PPD or chest X-ray
• BLS certification
• Preferably one year of RN experience

Skills

• Clinical competency in pediatric care
• Ability to work independently
• Compassion for students with complex health conditions
