School Nurse Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN

About the role

The SCHOOL NURSE provides nursing services to the student population in various environments. The school Nurse works cooperatively with the school staff, parents, and guardians to provide for the health care needs of students. The school Nurse works under the supervision of the chief school nurse and/or school principal.

Requirements

• LPN/LVN: Graduate of an accredited licensed practical/vocational school of nursing.
• Current and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of practice.
• At least one year experience as a nurse in the school setting.
• CPR as required by client facility; health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.
