About the role

The LENAPE REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking an experienced SCHOOL NURSE to join our team in SHAMONG, NEW JERSEY. The position will start on September 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to students and staff as needed
• Administer medications according to medical guidelines
• Maintain health records and report student health concerns to appropriate personnel
• Coordinate with school physicians and other healthcare providers
• Assist in developing and implementing health education programs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current New Jersey State Certification as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Experience working in a high school setting preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills

• Knowledge of adolescent health issues
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
