School Nurse

About the role

The School Nurse at Clarvida works with youth referred by the public school system in our alternative school placement. Key responsibilities include medication management, assessing and treating minor student illnesses, and referring students to other medical services in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication management
• Assess and treat minor student illnesses
• Refer students to other medical services in the community

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelors level RN
• Licensed as a Registered nurse (RN) in Delaware and in good standing with the Delaware Board of Nursing
• 1 or more years’ nursing experience (Community health, Pediatrics, Emergency care and Triage, Psychiatry, or a Physician’s office)

Benefits

• Full Time: $50,000/year, $60/hour Part Time, 28 hours a week
• School hours (8:00am-2:00pm) Monday - Thursday
